In anticipation of the upcoming Killing Joke animated movie I have decided to put together this list of my top five animated movies. This is total opinion and in no way means anything, but it was fun to write!

5.  Hulk vs. (2009)

11153114_800Growing up I remember two shows that I watched all the time. One was the 66’ Batman series, and the other was The Incredible Hulk. I especially loved the Hulk TV movies that started my love of Daredevil as well as Thor, so when I found the Hulk vs. animated feature(s) I knew I love it. Not only do you get to see Hulk fight Thor, you also see him fight Wolverine. The animation was solid and voice acting spectacular, so this one has to make my top five for sure.

4. Doctor Strange: The Sorcerer Supreme (2007)

MV5BMjA0NjU1MTUxOV5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTcwMDc3OTQ1MQ@@._V1_UY1200_CR111,0,630,1200_AL_I went into this movie not knowing too much about Doctor Strange, other than he had an awesome cape and did the Spider-Man hand thing. This movie was a great introduction to the character, you really see his transformation from egotistical brain surgeon, to desperate man, to the Sorcerer Supreme. I recommend this movie to anyone who would like to know more about the character.

3. Justice League: New Frontier (2008)

New Frontier is a special one for me. When watching this movie, it brought back all the good feelings I had as a kid watching the old reruns of the Super Friends cartoons. It was originally written and drawn by Darwyn Cooke, this is a story of the silver age DC Comics characters. I highly suggest watching this movie though the characters may be a little different than you are reading now you will see what they are all about, or what they are meant to be.

2. Justice League: Doom (2012)

Batman Doom

Justice League Doom is just an amazing story, and it has one of my favorite actors voicing my favorite Justice League member, Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern. This is the story of the League of Doom breaking into the bat cave and stealing Batman’s plans to take down the Justice League. The best part about this is the plan Batman has to take care of himself, watch and find out!

1. Batman: Under the Red Hood (2010)

Batman Under the Red Hood has to be top of this list because it literally starts out with the death of Robin. If you like the way The Punisher operates, then you will fall in love with Red Hood. The voice acting for Red Hood in this has me convinced that the only person to play Red Hood in a live action movie is Jensen Ackles. The mix of great story with amazing animated action scenes makes this number one on my list.
