Hey there, so I put together a quick unboxing video for this month’s LootCrate offering, the theme this month was Dystopia a fairly depressing theme in my opinion but let’s take a look at what was in the box:

So as you can see the box included 5 items:

RoboCop T-shirt (exclusive) – this is a cool design and I could see myself wearing this shirt as part of my regular rotation.

Terminator 2 Metal Print (exclusive) – OK I have to be honest, I have no idea what anyone would do with this and it is likely to end up in the box of items I take to the next nerd swap meet.

Matirx 300 piece puzzle (exclusive) – I like puzzles and I like the Matrix, but another item that is likely to end up at the swap meet

Bioshock Key blank (exclusive) – I could actually using this the next time I need to get a key made, the last time was probably 2-3 years ago and so I doubt highly this will survive me holding onto it that long.

Fallout 4 Funko Dobz Power Armor – So I have a few dorbz not a style that I am really actively collecting a lot but a few figures have caught my eye, and I have a few Fallout pops (but I sold most of them off) so this is a cute item but not something that I will hold onto, but rather something I will likely try to trade within my local Funko group on Facebook.

So overall I have to give this box a 4 out of 10.  I expect that the rapid growth of LootCrate is their eventual demise for me, now with them selling premium boxes and multiple other boxes (Pets, Anime, Gaming, DX) and Lvl Up, it is too much for them to keep the quality of items and boxes high enough to keep me interested.  I dropped Nerd Block for similar reasons but I have hung on to LootCrate for 2 years but when the only item in the box that I actually think I will have in 60 days is the shirt, well time to consider moving on.  Let’s see how they do next month, but things need to get better for me to consider staying a customer.  If you want to give LootCrate a try, you can subscribe here.

Always Buy Three (one to play with, one to keep in box, and one just in case)
